Pre-registration for TEDxMaastricht 2017 is now closed!
This year’s TEDx Maastricht will be taking place in the MECC on Friday the 13th of October 2017.
For the first time this year, we will be throwing an afterparty to celebrate TEDx Maastricht’s 5th anniversary!
The after party has a cover charge of €15,- to cover administration, venue, some food and drinks and of course music. You simply need to bring the good vibes you’ve gathered from the day and celebrate with us.
Tickets for the afterparty only need to be paid once you’ve been selected from our pre-registration-list.
Each year we have more people apply to be in the audience than we can accept to the event, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation letting you know if you have been successful!
Pre-registration is closed!

Maastricht is a university city, hosting approximately 16,000 students, 4,000 university employees and a blooming scientific community. Maastricht University is the most international university of the Netherlands with around 50 percent foreign students representing more than 70 different nationalities.
In addition to the university, Maastricht offers a home to many other international institutes such as UNU-MERIT, EIPA, MSM, UWC.
Maastricht is also the capital of Limburg, a Dutch province with approximately 1 million inhabitants. Recent important developments in the region include the Knowledge Axis Limburg where the large educational institutes, businesses and government collectively play a leading role in the sustainable economic development of the province of Limburg.
This regional growth engine includes the various Limburg campuses: The Maastricht Health Campus; the Chemelot Campus in Sittard-Geleen, focusing on materials; the Greenport Campus in Venlo, specializing in agriculture, logistics, food and health; Maastricht’s inner-city faculties, revolving around business, law and culture; the Smart Services Campus in Heerlen, Limburg’s future financial, administrative and information hotspot.
Finally, Maastricht is a central player in the international collaborations initiated in the cross-border Meuse-Rhine Euregion, which is formed by the Aachen-Maastricht-Hasselt-Liège city-corridor hosting approximately 4 million inhabitants.
The local community that we aim to represent and serve with our TEDxMaastricht event is wide-spread, international and multi-disciplinary: a good reflection of a booming region in constant development.
